Go Back To You, You’re Still There.

In a world of rolling chaos and constant change, it’s easy to forget what truly matters.

It slips off our minds quite often.

Oftentimes I forget that I was put in this body to serve my soul, to lull, feed, bathe and listen to it. If I am not at peace, it manifests through me, into my surroundings and it determines what I attract.

I must remember what really matters. I ask for strength and clarity so I can remind myself to listen to my soul and pay attention to its desires. I ask for strength so that whenever I come back to myself I can find shelter, peace and a safe space, and at the same time remember that that is all I need.

I hope I always have the ascertainment to acknowledge what is in and out of my control.

I wish I always have the strength to work on what I can control, and have the clarity to let go of what I can’t.  I completely trust that I will achieve everything that I desire in life. In fact, it is not a question of “If?” but a question of “When?” instead. Yet it is our rather childlike human nature to be impatient and passionate about our aspirations. In times when our dreams encounter a small bump along the road, we must remind ourselves that our eyes can only see so far, and that every bump is just a pebble in a much more vast, longer road.

These bumps along the way are the ones that lead us down the right path, our own path, the one we must travel. We must learn to learn from them, and view them as a redirection instead of a halt.

I have the power to decide what happens in my life, and if I don’t, I can decide if and how it affects me.

From within me will shine a light so bright that it can outshine any darkness that makes its way to me. I ask for strength to come back to me in times that I humbly stray from my path, or unintentionally  fail to remember what truly matters.
