How to Fight the War Against Terrorism with Yoga.

This is not a post I ever thought I’d be writing.

A post in response to hatred emblazoned upon a country in the wake of heart wrenching acts of violence. Terror has arrived in New Zealand and terror will not remain.

The title of this makes me uneasy because I don’t want to minimalist what occurred on 15 March, 2019 but I know that I (we) possess a power and I want to share it with you.

We hold the power.

To change the course of any act of terrorism is a power that we hold. New Zealanders also have the power to stabilize our reputation as a peaceful nation. You see there’s a thing called entrainment. This is a natural phenomenon that occurs when two entities synchronize their resonance with one another.

With consistency and time, the vibration of a weaker entity will change to match the vibration of the stronger entity. This is a law of nature and cannot be changed.

Kia Kaha (Be Strong).

Strength occurs when there is a perfect balance between Sthira and Sukha, or Steadiness and Ease. Practicing this can evolve our often misunderstood views of stubbornness or rigid opinions being strong. A realization occurs that without its counterpart, steadiness will eventually weaken and become brittle.

Extremism toward hate and separation (terrorism) means that we need to remain stronger in our commitment to togetherness and love.

New Zealanders need this now more than ever.

What’s on our side? The fact that the heart organ and the heart energy centre (anahata chakra) emits an energy thousands of times more powerful than any other part of the human body.

Here’s the equation:

Terrorism = Hate

Our weapon

Warrior = Love

The powerful vibration that emits from an authentic coming together of a nation to love one another has to result in a balancing act. If our level of love equally matches a terrorist’s level of hatred, we will remain in battle and nothing will occur. If a nation’s level of love outweighs a terrorists hatred, we gain the power to create change.

So the equation needs to be as follows:

Terror/Hate/Separation < 49%

Warrior/Love/Unity > 51%

Don’t fake it. Be it.

If you aren’t mathematical that won’t mean much, so let me explain it another way (and here’s another thing: you can’t fake it, the love has to be real).

Love is a natural energy resonance that moves through our heart centre. The centre spins that energy through subsequent channels of the human body. In order for this to happen, the heart and lungs need to pump. Oxygen flows, blood pumps, we get moving.

This results in love (energy) moving through the physical body giving it momentum. It then bursts beyond the individual human body and is projected into another human. That human needs to be on a similar resonance. The senses draw the love in and it courses through the physical construct of the body, all the way through the tissues and feeds into the cells.

It is then spun through the wheel of the heart chakra and back out again and so the cycle continues. If there are energy blocks in any human body it will weaken the power. So we consistently practice yoga and meditation to dissolve those blocks. Just like if your kitchen pipes get clogged with coffee grinds, the water will drain slowly. So too if your body is clogged with baggage, your energy will not flow.

While we are busy being powerful and connecting to others, we don’t have time nor business paying attention to anything else. We have a mission to complete. The cool thing is that those around you don’t have to match your exact level of love! If their level is slightly weaker, entrainment will ensure their vibration will be uplifted to yours.

If you are lucky enough to discover someone who’s level of energy is more powerful than yours, surrender to that and you’ll be naturally uplifted.

Strength in Numbers.

This can happen within families, cultures, and across oceans and seas. Once a small group unites and fortifies as one, they grow in strength can then project an even more powerful combination of good to others. Like a virus, the love spreads and eventually the terror becomes outweighed, outnumbered, and dies.

We are Warriors.

Yoga equals to yolk; to come together, to unite. I felt powerless yesterday for like, a second, before realizing that we are not powerless.

There were many victims yesterday, but New Zealand, we are full of warriors. Love does not always come in the form of joy and happiness.

Planet Earth, we need your help. We need your love.
