Four Steps to Help You “ROAR”

One of my greatest desires is to help women change their lives so that they can fulfill themselves, be happy and be at peace. Many of us face daily difficulties and hardships. Some are more sizeable than others. None should be scoffed at. I’ve come up with four steps to help you deal with just about any problem you face.

Want to ROAR?

      1. Recognize the challenge/struggle. Name it.
      2. Only you can choose to face/change it.
      3. Ask for help. Create a support team to help you.
      4. Resolve to overcome your challenge.

  1. Recognize the challenge or the fight you face. You’ll have to name it. For example: “I drink too much”  “I have chronic pain” “I hate my job;” you get the idea.
  2. Only you can choose to face it and turn it around. Nobody can do that for you. If you’re anything like me, I’ll reach for a piece of candy or cake if someone tells me I should lose weight. Any change has to start with you and you have to do it for YOU, not for your husband, kids or boss.
  3. Ask for help. You can’t do it alone, whatever it is. Allow yourself to be vulnerable and reach out for support. I can guarantee that you’re not alone in your struggle. Find a friend or a group.
  4. Resolve to overcome your challenge. Make the decision. Write out a plan if that helps. Take one step towards your goal. This is an action step, not a sit back and see what happens step.

You can do anything you set your mind to.

Go out and ROAR!
