Dear Creator,

 

I am here to connect with you. I need to feel the Holy Spirit in my presence. My creator, I need you. I praise you.

 

I open up my heart to you.

 

For help in my relationships, help in my feelings of depression and grief. Sadness and Darkness, Lord. 

 

I grieve for all I have encountered and all I have forgotten.

 

Please place your loving presence center on my body. Surround me with your loving kindness. Make me new.

 

Create a new life in me, I surrender my soul to you.

 

Show me the beauty I behold. Show me to myself clearly as you see me.

 

Create a new life in me.

 

Create in me a new heart, one that is not jagged and worn.

One that is satisfied. One that is stable.

 

Please ease my desperation to feel a certain way, show me how to just be in my skin, not a flailing vessel, but a stoic ship. Steady and able, but soft. Keep me soft and pliable.

 

I surrender to your will. Please create in me a new life. One that is light and pure.

One where sadness ebbs and flows like the tides of the ocean. 

 

I send praise and worship to the highest and I call out to you in the night.
