Poem about Early Labor

A pain so deep it pierced her soul
Upon her cheek one teardrop roll
So numb inside she cried her last
The present so bad she missed the past

Praying for miracles but water has broken
We don’t know our future, God’s already spoken
18 weeks it’s too early for labor
All the precautions but nothing could save her

I know in my heart she’d be the best mother
One more stillborn?? We can’t take another
We tried it 3 times and gave it our best
But losing 3 early will leave you a mess

Our story is sad, hopefully not over
Whenever she’s sad she can cry on my shoulder
Our marriage is strong and will most likely last
I’ll be strong for you, I Am built for this task.
