If there is only one thing I could do it would be a voice for the voiceless.

The innocent animals.

The abused.

The marginalized.

I would speak up for the women who feel stuck and alone. I would speak up for the children that have been traumatized in their short little lives and help them meet their needs.

I would speak up to the addicts and alcoholics and tell them they are not alone. That their pain is buried under the wreckage and help them excavate it.

I would help people work through shame and grief and show them another way to walk through tough emotions.

I would sit with them and breathe through the pain and tell them that they are going to be okay.

I would hold them like the child they feel like inside and try to reach that not enough place. We would find that wound together and heal it so they could come out feeling like a diamond amidst the rough.

I would teach perseverance and show others how to walk through adversity and how to face the fire externally and internally.

I would create a safe place for them to reside when home feels too scary and uninviting.

If there is one thing I could do I would create a resting place for those who feel like they’ve done all they can and that this life is a dead end. I would show them their worth and help create a new life in them.

I would show people how to look up to find their divine guidance.

I would show them that there is a creator near them that has never left their side and walk them through tapping into that divinity.

I would show them what surrender looks and feels like and how to embrace that child inside.

I would explain that we all have dark parts inside, but we must find those shadows to find the light within.

The only way out is through. The only way in is by walking through the fire. It feels rough now, but there is a way out-let me lead the way for you……..
