Enchanted Forests Where Your Imagination Grows

Photo by Anton Atanasov on Pexels.

I walked with my daughter and her small children today on a forest trail.

It was magical and I was aware that the magic of her childhood which I had instilled still remained for on our walk she found the fairies and their kingdom.

Together we found fawn and fern and foliage green and new.

We found mushrooms and snails and the Queen’s Cup blooms.

We saw bubbling streams and fairy footprints and secret little homes.

Birds sang and nature hummed a delicate intricate tune that mixed with the children’s laughter.

My daughter shared the magic with her own children and I listened.

I watched as she told my young granddaughter about the fairies and their forest home. We found treasure and relics that they left and we slowed down enjoying the day.

I witnessed young eyes light up and I felt alive and glorious.

We enjoyed nature together.

Instantly, I was magically transported back in time.

I shared stories that I wrote when my daughter was young and the stories that I created as a young girl.

I was gifted at a young age with a pen and a magical key to a sacred kingdom filled with mystical creatures and distant lands.

This was an enchanted place where anything was possible with a little imagination.

If you feed your imagination with creative experiences and nature it grows!

Your imagination is the magic.

To be honest, until this day I really did think that my daughter had forgotten the magical world we have created together.

This often happens with adults when they grow up.

As a creative, I relish the magic of nature and all it holds. I cherish the mystical lands that I have travelled and the friends that I have made along the way.

My imagination is a key to a secret kingdom this still exists even though I have grandchildren of my own.

This is a gift like a magical forest all of it’s own.
