You Don’t Need Self-Love for This

Stop the Lies!!!

Unpopular opinion… guess what?

You don’t have to be “fully healed” (whatever TF that is!!!) in order to be loved or to be in a relationship.

You don’t have to earn love by working ‘hard enough’ on yourself.

You are worthy and deserving of love right now… in this moment… and with all your perceived brokenness.

We are all a little broken and there is no finished destination of healing that we suddenly arrive at when when we have read enough self-help books or gone to a certain amount of workshops.

Continuing to ONLY focus on your inner world actually is making you miss out on your growth and expansion. It’s keeping your from truly embodying and connecting to the love that is there to teach and guide you on this journey in your life.

I often hear from people that they are desiring to heal themselves first and then they will go out and find the relationship that they are desiring or that they are going inwards because they first must love themselves.

And while I am a firm believer and teacher of doing the personal growth work…

You don’t have to wait to have your self-love quotient at 100% to be able to give and receive love.

You don’t have to wait until you’ve beaten down all your triggers, traumas, and self-perceived demons in order to be an amazing partner, friend, or parent.

As humans we are always in a state of flux and change…

That is simply this human condition.

And so if you are waiting to be perfect then you are going to be waiting a very hard time….

And you will find that the others that are loving you and are in relationship with are going to be far from perfect.

Yes, do your work on loving yourself and connecting with yourself. This WILL make you a better person that is able to both give and receive love at a deeper level.

Allowing you will find more stability in your relationships and be able to stand on your own without co-dependent.

When we love ourselves, the love we feel deepens and it transforms into a truer and purer type of love. We experience a level of love that is only reached through loving of self and connecting within.

Yes, there may be times when you need to take time to distance in order to re-connect and process through a learning. Maybe you get out of one relationship and take a break to do some inner work before deep diving into another…

But take the time not because you think you are too broken but because you are feeling called for inward connection.

And then get out there again and start allowing yourself to be loved on and loving others.

We learn so much about ourselves in love and in relationships by the blessings and lessons that are brought to us by others.

The growth work just lifts you up to a space of being able to truly enjoy the love and feel it at a soul level. The practice of relationships and love allows you to see where the inner work is required and all the blocks that still remain to love.

The fact is you are worthy and deserving of love whether or not you’ve ever done any of your personal growth work.

You are lovable right now!
