Jim Owens

Jim Owens is not like the other children. Jim is a former  banker, and now a full time consultant, speaker, writer, poet, tall person and otherwise work in progress. He wears boots whenever he can. Jim enjoys strong black coffee, good conversation and the outdoors. He has an imaginary friend named Mr. Astro who laughs at all his jokes and tells him he looks nice, even when he doesn’t. All in all, Jim is the biggest kid in a sandbox full of grownups. Jim’s most recent book, Long Trail Home: A Journey is available here.. He’s working on two others, a science fiction piece, The Darian Matter, and Signs of Life, a series of essays, poems, and short fiction about his efforts to live a mindful life.
