Rich “Koken” Mackin has lived in Boston, Portland (Oregon), and two small cities in Connecticut. During that time, and in no specific order, he has sung in punk bands, created a zine empire, written two books and hundreds of silly letters to Corporate America, performed spoken word all over the country, was dubbed “Portland’s Best Superhero 2010”, graduated art school, saved Christmas, and lived in a Buddhist Temple for four years. He is currently attending a Graduate Studies Program at Wesleyan University.
