When I posted this image and caption, I was a homeless vet in deep depression, living between friends, my car and my storage unit.
I put my shoes and socks nearby when I slept. When I woke, regardless of the time or temperature, I put on my shoes and went for a walk. I knew if I could stand, I could walk; and if I could walk, I had much to be grateful for.
Eventually, I recovered. Read the caption. Share this with your loved ones, especially Veterans. No matter how bad things seem there’s always hope and angels dressed as people to help along the way. Every step, every breath, every smile counts and adds up. #NeverQuit #NeverGiveUp #ShareWithaVeteran
