The Gremlins have been full force this week at my hospital and surgery center I work at; we’ve had the gamut from failing air conditioning, poor water flow, to power loss and generator failure. The mojo has been totally weird.
When the A/C went out, one might have thought the world was ending. The lassitude amongst my fellow employees was surpassed only by the volume of complaints. It was hot in there, I’ll give them that, but no hotter than going outside and working in the afternoon! Comparatively speaking, it was like being in a sauna–what a rare treat to have a spa day at work!
I had a fantastic morning; there were others too that did not seem to suffer as much as some–changing your perspective can build whatever outlook you have!
