She has survived battles
Time and again
She has been broken to pieces
The lava coursing through her veins
Fusing her back together each time
She knows what love can do
She has seen the worst it has to offer
Yet she remains hopeful
She is not nieve
She is brave
Her heart is a vast cavern
The scars of her past paving a road
To unending love in its depths
Her eyes see through you
Unafraid, untamed, unpredictable
She will unnerve you
with a mix of fierce independence
and raw sensuality
It is a test, do you have what it takes
She seeks to be vulnerable
To let someone see her heart
This is when she is most fearless
She’s looking for the one
A warrior like her
Who won’t choose the easier path
Who matches her strength
Who is unafraid of her depths
And his own
She understands the threat
The chance she takes
That you may not be strong enough
But, she’ll open the door anyway
If she sees your potential
If she is wrong about you
If you choose another or shy away
You won’t destroy her, you can’t
She’ll simply fuse a new wound
As she’s done so many times before
Knowing it was worth the risk
Her warrior heart
Searching on for the one meant to
walk beside her on the road of scars.
