I’ll always remember

The excitement and anticipation of knowing I’ll see you the next day.

The drive to where we meet and butterflies knowing I’ll see you.

The look on that beautiful face the bright eyes wide smile.

The way our eyes would lock not seeing a single other person even if there were 1000.

The long walk to get to you even if it was only 3 meters.

Until finally I could embrace you, wrap my arms around you and feel you nestle into my neck.

The way your body curves perfectly into mine.

No one else existed for that time the earth stopped spinning, time stood still.

The way your face felt in the palms of my hands.

The way your soft strawberry lips felt pressed hard against mine.

The taste of your mouth your breath.

The smell of that familiar perfume and your body oil.

The way you made me feel like I could take on the world, and I did.

The way you shuffle your feet in to get closer.

The way you hold my collar bones.

The way you tuck your little elbows into your waist when you’re explaining with your hands.

The way you frown and smile at the same time if something confuses you.

The way you make a cute sound when you’re exhausted on a bike.

The way you like dried mango and nougat.

The way you pull your little mouth when we’re naked together.

The way you look at me when I do something special.

The way you tell me stories and use that voice.

The way your cute little nose looks.

The way you pout in photos.

The clothes I’ve never seen you wear twice and the clothes I have.

Your sexy outfits and your everyday at home ones.
