Laura Ayala: I’m all the things: a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, yogi, former collegiate athlete (volleyball/basketball), artist, reluctant maker of meals, writer who rarely writes…all while raising a family in swampy but beautiful Savannah, Georgia and living a sober (but still super fun!) life, as I attempt to be a perfectly imperfect antiracist human—who also prioritizes all things mental health and wholeheartedly seeks purpose, stability, and grace. (It’s a lot, I know.) Thank goodness for sunshine, wide open spaces that make us feel small, run-on sentences, lithium(!), books, the wisdom that comes with age, and so much more. I have a million crazy stories to tell and it’s time to get started…thanks for reading. ☺️
