Alessandra Ross is an orthopedic sports surgeon, NATO war veteran, loving mother, and humanitarian. Her education and professional career includes the privilege of training in prestigious, well-equipped hospitals in the U.S., South Korea, Israel, and Spain to providing medical care to socioeconomically disadvantaged communities with limited resources in North America and in the austere, war-torn environment of northern Afghanistan. As a result of these experiences, she has become passionate about equitable and efficient health care systems and promotes technology which can help us ethically create this reality both domestically and internationally. An advocate for individual responsibility in optimizing health, well-being, and happiness, she enjoys empowering her patients through education about their medical conditions and daily lifestyle choices. She writes and speaks about her broad experiences in hopes of increasing empathy and connection between communities and people who might not otherwise have the opportunity to interact.
