Elephant is looking to hire a talented, mindful individual with a deep curiosity for eCommerce and a propensity for analytics to head up our Eco Shop, from new schwag to social media campaigns that drive engagement and sales. This full-time position includes the EcoShop Growth Manager role at 15 hours a week, and Editorial & Social Media at 25 hours a week.

Shop Responsibilities:

• Manage all eCommerce operations: inventory, shipping, marketing, creative development, customer service & web-store operations.
• Ship orders a minimum of 3 times a week (M,W,F preferred) with no more than 48 hrs between shifts.
• Maintain eco shipping supplies and reorder from vendors as needed so there are no delays in shipping.
• Compile performance reports from different sales channels and SKUs, provide insight to management on sales trends, marketing performance, and make suggestions to improve sales. This sounds tough but is fun and rewarding.
• Work with the editorial team to execute the eCommerce marketing strategy.
• Must be able to lift boxes on occasion. Free exercise!

Social Media & Editorial Responsibilities:
• Write engaging headlines and intros that grab readers’ attention on social media.
• Share new and timeless Elephant articles across our social media channels and engage with our active online communities.
• Track audience engagement and reach on our social media channels.
• Copy edit new articles in line with our Elephant Style Guide and editorial voice—a friendly, personal, inclusive tone—that offers our readers a mindful or practical take on life.

Ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience with digital marketing, selling on Amazon and BigCommerce or similar eCommerce site helpful, but not required.
• Highly detail and process-oriented.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills, copy editing experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, ideally in related field of English, Communications, Retail Management.
