Carrie Lehtonen got her wake-up call at 31 years old, courtesy of a heart attack. She was working in a stressful corporate job that didn’t inspire her, and even though she was in good physical shape as a triathlete, she felt disconnected from herself.
After learning more about heart disease, the #1 killer of all Americans and 80% preventable with lifestyle changes, Carrie decided that she needed to change, and that she wanted to help others lead healthier, happier lives.
Carrie embarked on a journey that included education in nutrition and life-coaching methods, training to become a yoga teacher, and starting her own business, Firefly Community. Through Firefly, Carrie leads and coordinates yoga and wellness retreats internationally and domestically to help participants ignite their inner light, and provides wellness coaching, group classes and workshops, and member-only content so they can thrive.
