Chiara Crisafulli

According to Chiara Crisafulli, life works out in mysterious ways. This is how she has been navigating her journey—traveling and savoring different countries without an agenda for 13 years. Originally from Sicily, Chiara wrote her first poem at the age of 7 and has never stopped since. Some of her poems and articles, both in English and Italian, have been published in various literary and travel magazines. A member of Lisbon’s JÁ International Theatre, Chiara actively participates in open mic and poetry reading sessions, as she believes that performance poetry and a sense of community are just as important as writing. She is currently in search of a publisher who loves her first poetry manuscript as much as she does, celebrating the courage to embrace pain and allowing it to lead toward growth. Residing in Lisbon (Portugal) for most of the year, she works as a ghostwriter while also leading poetry reading tours for writers.
