After all these Years—I’m still Searching for My Hero: Roy White.
Ed Cohen is the author of Vulnerable: One Man’s Journey from Abuse to Abundance (Viva Editions, 2025), a powerful memoir chronicling his path from childhood trauma through professional success and into a deeper healing forged through truth, relationship, and personal transformation. Once a high-flying global executive, Ed built a career designing leadership strategies for companies across more than 50 countries. Yet the most important journey he’s taken has been inward—toward wholeness, accountability, and relational repair.
A longtime speaker, executive coach, and writer, Ed’s work today is dedicated to helping others move from performance to presence, from survival to connection. His message resonates with those who carry silent stories of pain—and are ready to reclaim their voices. Whether on stage or in print, he offers a different model of strength: one rooted in honesty, compassion, and the courage to heal in plain sight.
Ed lives in Southern California with his wife and partner, Priscilla Nelson, whose presence, wisdom, and fierce staying power have been essential to his growth. Together, they continue to write, lead, and model the possibility of shared healing—at home, in work, and in the world.
