Jilsarah Moscowitz has over twenty-five years’ experience helping government and nonprofit organizations build strong relationships and strong workplaces. By applying a variety of dispute resolution skills such as mediation, facilitation, and negotiation, she’s successfully resolved hundreds of disputes. Jilsarah has worked with nonprofit boards and facilitated groups representing a diversity of ages, genders, religions, and ethnicities. She currently works as a mediator for the US Postal Service. Jilsarah is a certified 5RhythmsⓇ teacher and certified in the Transformative Model of mediation through the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation. She practices a heart-based and eclectic method of dispute resolution. Jilsarah received her master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; completed a 15-credit degree in Organizational Conflict Transformation at Summer Peacebuilding Institute at Eastern Mennonite University; and studied at the Harvard Negotiation Insight Initiative with Kenneth Cloke. Jilsarah is trained in Non-Violent Communication, Formal Consensus Decision Making, Open Space Technology, ZEGG Forum and Coaching Fundamentals. She is past Tri-Chairperson of the Association for Conflict Resolution Workplace Section and author of Moving From Dissonance to Harmony: Managing Conflict on the Board, published by Board Source in October 2016 and Understanding Conflict in Nonprofit Organizations, which appeared in the Winter 2007 issue of the Association for Conflict Resolution magazine.
