Daniel Sobin is a writer, artist, and seeker drawn to the raw edge where spirit meets shadow. His work lives at the intersection of mysticism and modern life, exploring what it means to be fully human in a world that often asks us to fragment ourselves just to fit in.

He was shaped by a deeply religious upbringing and a long, quiet battle with anorexia. But somewhere along the way, he realized that healing wouldn’t come through perfection—it would come through presence. Through falling apart, coming home to his body, and letting go of the shame he didn’t know he was carrying.

Now, he writes and creates to tell the truth—especially the kind we’re not supposed to say out loud. His poems, essays, and art are invitations to feel more, not less. To ask better questions. To descend if we have to, in order to rise.

He started Unspoken Light as a space where art, clothing, and language become vessels for self-expression. He’s also building Male Speak™, a platform and community for men who are ready to drop the act and speak from the heart—no posturing, no shame.

His life is no longer about getting it right. It’s about showing up real. And if his words can help someone else feel less alone in their own contradictions, then he’s done what he came here to do.
