David Philip Ireland

David Philip Ireland was born in Cheltenham in 1949, and was educated at Gloucestershire College of Art & Design, where he studied Fashion and Textile Design. David moved to Amsterdam in 1971 to pursue a musical career, and lived and worked there until his return to the UK in 1996. Greenfield has worked in many aspects of the arts, including music, theatre and photography, publishing two novels and a volume of poetry. ‘Slow Poison’ and ‘Bloodstones’ are crime thrillers, their common thread being the English countryside around the Cotswolds.  Splinters and Sparks is a collection of poetry. David has been a partner at Time After Time, an award winning vintage store in Stroud since returning to the UK. David recently formed a recording band called Kuhl with Mikey Cooling, whilst continuing as a solo performer. Kuhl has released two albums; ‘Circus of Outrageous’ and ‘Pas De Deux’, David has released ‘A Twist of Time’ and ‘Boy in the Attic’   2021 will see the release of a volume of poetry, ‘Rattlesnake Jar’. David lives in Eastington on the edge of the Severn plains. To discover David’s back catalogue, visit: linktr.ee/davidirelandmusic
