Why Some Women Rush into Relationships & How to Break the Cycle.
NEW BOOK – Love Notes: How to Tend to Your Broken Heart, Navigate Your Emotions, & Befriend Your Inner Child After a Bad Breakup or Divorce is available here!
I am a mother, writer, a trauma-informed REBT mindset coach, podcast host, and Humanities professor who blogs about parenting and how language creates and reflects our values. I hold a Masters in Women’s Studies from Old Dominion University and a certificate in Positive Psychology from the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley.
After working with young women in high schools and colleges, I am certain that we all need help drowning out those superficial shouting voices – only then will we begin hearing the little whispers of our souls. I hope to help you unearth your beautiful voice and usher you into your badass self.
I am passionate about exceptional communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
I teach people how to find their authentic values, enhance their motivation, and speak their truth.
My writing has appeared in the Elephant Journal, DivorcedMoms.com, FilterFreeParents.com, and Her Voice: Motherhood published by Wine, Women, and Well-Being Press.
My podcast, EvesDropping, explores the myths and beliefs that make us miserable.
I started @GRLPWRDEN to support women in building their confidence, finding their voice, and linking them to a community that is doing the same.
