What am I? A woman.A wayward thinker.A premenopausal bits and pieces kind of lady.I get scooped up by life and have always lived by a wing and a prayer.I have uprooted myself and am busy planting and growing ‘me’ in my first and hopefully only marriage in my mid forties.I have been in my marriage, 2 years and been in my husbands country for just a year.I have spent much of the last twenty years heading off into parts unknown travelling with a will and an uncertainty but willing to let the stories on what was a blank page be told and unraveled through me and the experiences felt.Now my journey is also a travel of sorts, with a new soul,new destinations and places unexplored within my spirit and soon travels to the unknown.What makes my heart beat a little faster?People with  integrity and sprinklings of humor,even when life has hollowed them out from the inside,that crack of light has filtered in and made them real and honest. I crave places of wild solitude,the sunshine on my back and my bare feet through dewy grass.Lazy Sundays,where you stretch your toes to infinity and make love to your pillow.My bed is my soul mate.In between delicious,happy food that makes you crave more out of life and travel that feeds your mind and wakes you up just a little each time.These are more joys.
