5 Ways Highly Sensitive People can Benefit from Restorative Yoga.
Hello! I am Federica, a heart centered yoga teacher, an intuitive health coach, a sensitive seeker and flowers enthusiast. I am extremely intuitive and someone who cares, deeply. I bring this deep empathy with me wherever I go. My journey has been very diverse. I studied medical biotechnology and spent my early career investigating complex diseases and the genetic and environmental factors driving them. I then worked for more than ten years in tech, helping scientists to do their best work with software for research. have walked and run up the ladder, always delivering and being on top of my life. And I did all of this while struggling with the chronic symptoms of Endometriosis. I did it all, until I couldn’t. The time came when I had to stop, to breathe, and to ask myself, “where was I running?” I had to make space to discover what was truly important for me and put myself first. Changing my lifestyle, educating myself and working with a health coach was life altering. I was changing what I could and connecting to my deepest whys when I couldn’t. I started looking for deeper meaning in my day to day work. I sought a formal education in health coaching, specializing in Endometriosis. After receiving my national board certification in health and wellness coaching, I began coaching clients, working at advocacy projects to raise awareness on the disease, and becoming part of the solution. It was here that I found my true passion waiting for me: my health and the health of others. That is when I embarked in a life changing 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training. And all of this in the same year I had my first Endometriosis surgery. Yoga has been my friend, my healing guide. It kept me sane, it helped me recuperating my flexibility after my surgery and also keeping myself inside my body instead of dissociating after so much medical trauma. This is me, and this has been my life so far. Yoga is for me a precious nectar, and I want to bring sweetness, comfort and inspiration in each and every of my classes. My goal is to make every practice accessible to everybody. What I bring to people is an intuitive, fluid and tender yoga practice where we can explore the many sides of being human. And come in connection with our deepest and truest nature.
