September dreams from a silent retreat
Born in Tehran, Iran, Hamid left his native land at an early age to become a nomad of the world. Exposing himself to different countries, cultures, and languages, he settled into Paris in 1985 to study philosophy. At one point he had Jacques Derrida as his teacher. It is in those years that he developed an interest in Zen and begun practicing. He later met his teacher Ryotan Tokuda who in 2010 sanctioned him to teach.
Hamid is an itinerant counselor, unpublished poet and author, and longtime struggling father. He facilitates silent Zen meditation retreats. He can be found on Facebook, Instagram or on his website maitri-retreats.com

September dreams from a silent retreat
a love without a beginning is not a love that can end
the art of making mistake after mistake
we can always cheer up
he who knows does not speak so speak you who do not know
nowhere to go and nothing to become : we just are.
In and out of the stream of not knowing.
We're community-driven. We're dedicated to sharing "the mindful life" beyond the core or choir, to all those who don't yet know they give a care. We focus on anything that's good for you, good for others, and good for our planet.
