Heather Herrick is a writer and mother to five incredible children of my own, and in addition, surrogate mother to four and adopted mother to one. She absolutely adores the chaos and excitement of her large family, which is why she helped three other families achieve their dream of having children by being a Gestational Carrier (surrogate). She lives in Flagstaff, Arizona, with her children and dogs. She enjoys hiking the endless trails nestled in the forests of never-ending Ponderosa Pine trees. On a late summer day, after a monsoon, the scent of vanilla fills the air in a forest of Ponderosas. She grew up in the South and occasionally in a nostalgic way, embraces the southern side of her personality with a Moonpie. She loves the smell of an old bookstore, and at any given time has a pile of books she is reading simultaneously because she can’t choose just one. She currently has one book published, entitled Red With Me, and am she is working on a second book. The sound of a distant train lulls her to sleep most nights. On a final note, she is an advocate for Pitbulls and volunteers in the community when an opportunity arises so she can spread passion and enhance awareness of the inherent qualities of this amazing breed.
