Jean Brown

Jean Brown is the author of “This Sweet Life: how we lived after Kirby died,” a memoir cowritten with her mother about the death of her sister at a self-improvement event in 2009. Jean is also a freelance writer and content manager for SEEK Safely, the non-profit organization her family formed to education self-help consumers and help effect positive change in the self-improvement industry. Jean lives in Toronto with her husband and two kids. When she’s not mom-ing or writing, she enjoys reading, hiking, and crushing it at karaoke!
