Jozef Jotown Slanda

Jozef (Jotown) Slanda, is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, astrologer and film maker (Gemini Midheaven and mutable angles). Jozef is from Detroit Michigan and he has been in the entertainment industry for 35 years. He has been a professional astrologer since 1997.

He has been involved in mixing music and astrology since 1977 when he played on the hit record “Float On” by the Floaters which used astrology in the lyrics. After working as a sideman for the likes of David Ruffin (The Temptations) The Floaters, The Detroit Emerald’s, Chuck Jackson, Gwen McCrae and many others, he began a solo career in the mid 80’s and still is a full time entertainer/producer.

Jozef recombined his twin interests of music and astrology in 2008 when he composed and performed the music for the astrology film “Return of the Magi” which debuted at the UAC conference in Denver Colorado. Jozef sees a horoscope as a kind of musical expression and has always tried to help his clients find the “Key” or “Tone” of their chart and thus live in fuller Harmony with their true nature. His talk combines astrological concepts, music, chart examples and some songs tossed in for good measure.
