For years, I lived in overdrive. I pushed harder, worked longer, and ignored the warning signs my body was sending me. Then one day, everything changed. A health crisis at 55 forced me to stop and ask myself a simple question: What if everything I was chasing wasn’t what really mattered?
Writing is just my way of getting the message out. I’m not a writer. I’m just a guy from the Rust Belt trying to make sense of it all. My posts can be clumsy and awkward, but so is life. It’s not about being polished. It’s about sharing.
There’s too much confusion in the world when the answers have been inside us all along. Maybe if we slow down, look within, and let go of what we think we should be, we’ll finally see what’s been there the whole time.
