Lavender “Lav” Kelley is a board-certified pediatric chaplain at a children’s hospital in Washington, D.C with 20 years of chaplaincy experience. Their current work centers on supporting children with complex medical diagnoses, especially in oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant, where mental health, spiritual, and relational needs often go unaddressed as medical concerns take precedence. Lav is focused on trauma healing and support, chronic illness coping, cultivating compassion, and spiritual growth.
