Michael Capiraso is a multifaceted professional who has established himself as an accomplished athlete and business leader in New York City. He has participated in 28 consecutive New York City Marathons, collecting over $100,000 for charitable causes through his running. Furthermore, Michael has worked for seven years in executive positions for the organization responsible for the marathon, New York Road Runners. Having experienced the New York City Marathon firsthand, Michael was eager to accept the position of CEO and President of NYRR. During his tenure, he successfully doubled annual revenue, spearheaded new community and philanthropic programs, and achieved many other accomplishments. Prior to his tenure at NYRR, Michael worked for other well-known companies such as the NFL and Cole Haan. Michael Capiraso has a passion for health and fitness and enjoys imparting his expertise on others.
