My name is Mike Jones, and I’ve spent the last decade navigating the intricate paths between academic research and creative storytelling. Based in Manchester, UK, I began my journey as a research assistant at the University of Manchester, where my fascination with project topics in cognitive psychology eventually led me to pursue my PhD. During my doctoral studies, I specialized in exploring the intersection of memory formation and creative writing, contributing to various project topics and publishing several papers in peer-reviewed journals.

While my academic career flourished, I found myself increasingly drawn to narrative storytelling.
