Miriam Elyse is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Certified Tantra Yoga practitioner, and the founder of Pleasure as Medicine; a business created to help people heal through connection and embodiment. She is initiated in Sri Vidya lineage Tantra Yoga and has been a certified practitioner of the healing arts for nearly 20 years. As a young adult she learned from Native American healers who taught her about healing with plant medicines and by reclaiming our connection to the earth.She began studying Tantra Yoga in 2010 and these practices helped her heal from childhood trauma that was creating destructive patterns in her relationships and harming the way she saw herself as a woman. The practices of Tantra Yoga helped her increase her mental clarity, feel more confident in her body and more connected to her authentic feminine energy. She has dedicated her life to healing and offering this healing and empowerment to others. Miriam has been teaching group workshops and coaching private clients since 2014 helping people change unhealthy patterns around love and intimacy, break through blocks to pleasure, and to ignite their inner fire.
