Every School Shooter was once a Kindergartner: an Innovative Approach to Raising Cons…
Nicole Pusateri feels that it truly does take a village to raise a child. She is an educator by trade, but her true passion is to help children learn the skills and tools that can help them live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives where all of their dreams really do come true. She began her personal journey in discovering who she was when she was well into her thirties. She enrolled in and obtained a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. When asked what she learned there, she usually sums it up by saying, the root of all issues is some version of unworthiness, and the answer is self-love. This, of course, is a simplified version of all the life-changing skills she acquired, and the deep healing that occurred during her time at USM. Her experience at USM triggered the beginning of her journey to a life that she can now say gets better and better every day. Her time at USM sparked a desire within her to teach what she was learning to children. The desire was in part because, as an educator of twenty years, she had extensive experience in working with young children, teacher colleagues, administrators, and parents. She graduated from the University of Scranton in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and has been teaching in various capacities since that time. In addition to twelve years of experience as a classroom teacher in Pre-kindergarten through fifth grades, she has fulfilled several administrative positions outside the classroom, including Literacy Coach, Educational Consultant, and English Learner Special Projects Teacher. The deeper reason for her desire, however, sprang from the thought, if only I had known a fraction of these skills at a younger age, how my life may have been different. Hence, her ambition to teach what she had learned to children. She now understands that everything really does happen for a reason and in perfect timing. All of her experiences combined have led to her life’s work in providing the opportunity to get these concepts and skills in the hands of parents, teachers, families, and the children they love. The work presented through her books is a culmination of her experiences, as an educator, combined with the various tools she’s added to her toolbox on her personal path to empowerment. She is trained as a teacher in Hatha and Kundalini Yoga and has learned several energy healing modalities. She puts everything she has learned into practice on a daily basis. It has led her to the person she is today and her ability to share her unique gifts, talents, and abilities with the world. If you are interested in the work presented through her books and writing, I encourage you to take it in, filter it through your lens, use discernment, take what resonates with you and leave the rest.
