Liv Downing has over 20 years of experience working in mental health and wellbeing (and over 40 years of experience of being human!). She is a Registered Psychologist, Coach and Meditation Teacher and offers consulting, coaching and counselling to individuals, groups and organizations. While working in private practice counselling, she was trained in Mindfulness-Based Therapy and she immediately recognised the power and efficacy of this technique for both individuals and organisations (and herself!). She still counsels in private practice one day a week. She is a board member of Meditation Australia (MA). She has a podcast about connection and belonging called “You are Loved” which is also the title of her forthcoming children’s book—due to be released in 2022. She has recently co-founded a workplace mental health program called Mind You.
