A Meditation on the Apocalypse (the unveiling)
Growing up, Pam always felt like she had more energy and emotion than her body could contain; she learned to channel her energy into movement via dance, gymnastics, yoga, and writing. Shaped by her adolescent struggles with an eating disorder, anxiety, and depression and by a desire to share in the journey into our inner landscapes, she went on to become a somatic-based therapist and trauma-informed yoga teacher.
For her, movement is so much of her medicine, and writing is one of her movement practices. She writes to embody, she writes to heal, and she writes to share in the journey of healing with others. Pam is based in Oakland, CA where she currently works as a school-based therapist with kiddos and tweens, does social-emotional learning (SEL) coaching. She hikes, dances, or moves her body in some way every damn day.
