Bradley Pilon

   Bradley is recent arrival into the writing community. Having spent thirty-five years working as a Bilingual School Psychologist in Los Angeles City School District, he focused primarily on preparing accurate Psychoeducational Student Evaluations, sometimes fascinating, but always dry. He hid his REAL SELF behind careful clinical description of others. At the age of 71, Bradley began writing memoire and became his own subject of scrutiny. The discovery if self through the re-telling of old stories within his personal memory bank started him on the path to finding the person he is today. He challenged the inner child to clearly reveal the old fears and distorted thinking that underlay his character foundation. His various inner voices and descriptions of past thoughts illustrate how the child’s voice used to inform Bradley’s thinking. In the process, he began the quest for his adult truth. For him, writing is about becoming the self that oversees both self-discovery and self-invention.  .
