For as long she can remember, Samantha Moodie has loved words…they amaze her; in fact, most things amaze her. She can so easily both lose and find herself, which is a blessing, she thinks. Her greatest nemesis has been change, which is a bit of a problem, as it is supposedly the only constant. She was born in South Africa and lived there for her first 30 years, and now lives in Greenwich UK with her stunning husband—Keith (or K). They’ve been together for nearly 30 years, and she’s not only blessed with love, she really likes him too—they work well together. They have had many adventures around the globe, and share their small home with two tuxedo cats—the brothers Badhu and Bazinga.

Samantha believes in active gratitude; in letting her nearest/dearest know they are treasured, valued, and loved—and that we are all part of a collective connectedness. Aside from faith-based readings, she has a diverse background in art and design, communication, mediation, and sales—and gave herself a 40th birthday present of going back to college to study nutrition and as many of the sciences around it that she can—she loves learning.

Her favourite quote that backs this up is one by Maya Angelou: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

…And when she needs more of a reminder, she turns to another wise man, Rumi: “Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.”
