When America Walks Away, the World Burns: the Real Cost of the Foreign Aid Freeze.
I am a writer, feminist thinker, and lifelong seeker, exploring the intersections of mind, body, and spirit through both practice and prose. As an attorney and Buddhist practitioner, my work is rooted in historical inquiry, lived experience, and a deep curiosity about power, resistance, and transformation. I am drawn to the ways in which storytelling, movement, and mindfulness help us navigate complexity—both in ourselves and in the world around us.I exist in contradictions—a believer in justice and a student of stillness, a seeker of wisdom and an embracer of uncertainty. My writing explores the Echo Tax—the hidden cost of women’s voices—and The Stillness Toll, the suppression of clarity as an act of control. I am interested in how we hold space for discomfort, challenge inherited narratives, and find new ways forward. I write about the messiness and beauty of human connection, the lessons found in both struggle and joy. I’ve come to believe that movement is prayer, breath is revolution, and stillness is its own form of resistance. Whether in the courtroom, the classroom, on the yoga mat, or beneath the night sky, I am always looking for the balance between surrender and strength.I write for those who are drawn to questions more than answers, who seek meaning in the mess, who believe healing happens in the spaces in between. My hope is that my words offer recognition, curiosity, and connection—an invitation to pause, reflect, and return to what has always been within.
