I write because stories saved me. Not dramatically—but in the quiet moments when a character’s struggle mirrored mine, when a dialogue line explained something I couldn’t articulate, when watching someone else try and fail and keep trying made me feel less alone.

That’s what I explore in my writing: the power of narratives to connect us, to heal us, to show us we’re not as broken as we think. I focus on K-dramas and Asian storytelling because these narratives are reshaping global culture—but also because they understand something essential about human resilience that Western entertainment often misses.

I have a Master’s in Media Studies, speak Urdu and English, and live in Pakistan.

But more importantly, I’m someone who believes deeply that the shows we watch,

the characters we love, and the stories we return to—these aren’t frivolous.

They’re how we make sense of being human.
