Wrestling is fake. That’s what we hear over and over. To clarify, the outcome of a match may be pre-determined, but the actions that take place are real – the lifting, the throwing, the flying, the punching, the kicking, etc. A professional wrestler spends years in training with a reputable school before getting booked for a reputable promotion. During that training, we learn to work together and protect one another, while creating the illusion of struggle.736 views

What if I was to tell you that you are the dog? Tied up and bound by what we perceive as our obligations, work, duties, social life and our ideas of what we want to be, leading to stress, unhappiness, illness and exhaustion.Yet so often we fail to realize this, to set ourselves free.469 views

I believe that it is almost incumbent on the yoga/mindful community to practice business in a mindful cooperative way because we should be the leaders in doing things differently...and I'm not alone in these beliefs.....face it; part of the reason for getting into was to actually enjoy what we do...but why do we have to sacrifice monetary compensation? Why can't we have both????1,501 views

The Cosby show was my first experience of black people. Sometimes you come online and there is this opportunity to be a web rager, just like a road rager. You're a web rager on comments or blogs because you don’t have anywhere to take out your frustrations. You’re kind of in this traffic of all these people moving, like five lane traffic in L.A. My Yoga teacher always says, "You think you're enlightened and then you get out of Yoga class and someone cuts you off, and you flip them off? Well, think again."669 views

Yoga today is riddled by a deep contradiction: While it really can connect you to your “true self,” it's becoming "branded" as a way of creating a seemingly fabulous, but ultimately false pseudo-self.2,643 views

At the ripe old age of 35, I have noticed that my life is much better now than it was ten years ago. Things still get chaotic, but it’s nice to have a steady job, a wife, and emotions that aren’t threatening to tear apart the very fibers of my being.426 views

Some men know that a light touch of the tongue, running from a woman's toes to her ears, lingering in the softest way possible in various places in between, given often enough and sincerely enough, would add immeasurably to world peace. – Marianne Williamson1,789 views
