As It Happens

“Telling the story of an adventure is never an easy task… Films are most often produced far removed from the experience and athletes. As such, the story told becomes a third party interpretation. The intensity of the journey is easily diluted and lost…”

Sending dispatches at 17,000 feet high in the Himalayas, editing and shooting while dehydrated and wasted from tough pitches… Along with fellow climber Cory Richards, Renan Ozturk set out to tell their story real time through a camera, two solar-powered laptops and broadcasted via social networks. It’s not often that you get to follow along on an adventure “As It Happens”. But that’s exactly what Renan and Cory make happen in this raw and inspired film. Check it out.
