We’ve all had that moment, er, Jesus Christ moment: last year I was biking through our local outdoor mall, and Frank Sinatra singing Christmas Carols (could be much worse) came on. It was October 1st (couldn’t be much worse).
In a world where Christmas is so monetized/commercialized that the backrooms of Wal-Mart are stocked in August, this honoring of our holy-days is appreciated, and oughta be rewarded with our attention and thanks.
