(Poem) Mirror, mirror

And when all else fails, the resilience that once consumed you in the guise of yearning. In the midst of one’s confusion, longing for the clarity barely known and a reflection that never seems your own.
-This resilience shatters the mirror of distorted faith others posess, allowing others their “knowing” of the peace you wish to find, yet only ever gifted, with the one remaining shard.
This shard, this mirror- What do you think it reflects and sees in you? What part of you remains when fate stakes it claim and make this one’s burden?
