I’m Not Ashamed of My Mental Illness

I was diagnosed this last year with Anxiety and Major Depression, stemming from Complex PTSD. I don’t have a flat stomach or defined muscles, and I don’t nit-pick about everything I eat. I’m not a “perfect” Mother, and I don’t pretend to be something I’m not! I’m strong physically & mentally, beautiful beyond comparison, and love every curve and dimple that my body has given me through having two amazing girls and the blessing it is to get older! I choose to no longer be ashamed of my truth & who I am… I’m unapologetically Me!

The process of discovering and embracing your own power is the hardest part…
But once you know what you’re capable of, it becomes impossible for anyone to hold you down! We’re all on a journey of growth that lasts our entire lifetime, but for so many of us, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by all the things we wish we could change about ourselves. Sometimes it helps to focus on small things we can actually do to make our lives better. ❤

What’s one thing that you’d like to change about the way you respond to life?
