To my girls, this is my promise to you —

I will always help you when you feel like you can’t do it. Not just do it for you, but teach you how to do it for yourself. I will teach you to be strong, and smart, and courageous, so that you know no matter what monsters you’re faced with in life, that you can take it head on & slay the beast — again, and again, if you must! I will teach you to protect yourself, because I can’t always be there to do it (no matter how much I wish I could be). And I hope you know that you’re always safe with me. My commitment to you is that I will never cease to strive for a better future for us, and that I can be one of many role models for you and someone you can look up to. I will continue to live my life in the way I want you to grow up; being full of compassion & love for others! Being independent and feeling confident in your own skin, because you are so incredibly beautiful inside and out!! I will never stop telling you that you’re amazing and brave and capable, because you are that and SO much more! No matter how the world changes you, you will always be my baby girls.
