Healing Codependency with Meditation

⁣Consistently trying to fix your significant other or intimate relationships.

Buying  into the notion that someone else completes you.

Suffering from the thought of losing a significant other.

⁣These are all signs of co-dependency.⁣

⁣The control and fix aspects of codependency are a defense mechanism to bypass our own inner work.

The suffering aspect stems from childhood programming,  lack of present moment awareness, and lack of mind control.

As women, especially, codependency is what robs us the most from Sovereignty.

We don’t usually focus on healing or like to acknowledge this thief.

Codependency can relate to attachment or emotional addictions to all types of relationships including romantic, businesses, roles, & children or other intimate relationships.

At its core, codependency also relates to the addiction we have with the illusion of Maya or duality.

It takes a holistic approach of addressing the root cause of codependency, to be able to embody freedom and wholeness.

Ultimately, Codependency stems from the unhealed relationship we have with our Mother & the programming instilled in us as a child as to what relationships should look like.

This is why our relationships many times mirror our Parent’s relationship.

There are three aspects to healing codependency:

-Healing Your Relationship with Your Mother

-Self Worth

-Presence

All three aspects of healing codependency have one solution: MEDITATE.

Kundalini Yoga is the ancient Mother of all Yogas and science of consciousness and of Awareness.

It’s prescriptive mediations incorporate the power of Breath, Mantra, and Mudra to produce a specific energetic result in a persons Biochemistry and Consciousness.

Through my daily Sadhana, Kundalini Yoga practice, I was able to heal my relationship with my Mother, my addiction to alcohol, sense of self-worth, leave a 15 year lucrative, but Soul draining business, and reach a better ability to live more in the present moment, which then transformed my codependency issues and relationships.

How exactly?

Well imagine your brain as a computer hard drive.

The thoughts and experiences you are having are emotions, which really is energy in motion.

We have 1,000 thoughts every time we blink, each thought is creating all this energy which can slow down the computer or cause it to crash.

Through Kundalini Yoga Mediations you are upgrading the Computer with new Apps to in essence upgrade your processing system.

This is key in today’s day in age where we learn more in one day than our ancestors learned their entire LIFETIME back in the 1700’s.

Through Kundalini yoga, you are allowing oxygen to travel in areas of the brain that usually don’t get any oxygen because it’s being bombarded with media consumption, thoughts, energy.

Through specific kundalini yoga meditations, you can also reprogram the computer from its perceptions of relationships instilled in you as a child that don’t serve you.

You are installing new programs of awareness to create the space of strength needed to move from anger and resentment to higher frequency emotions such as forgiveness and compassion.

A miracle is but a shift in perception, through meditation, you can shift your perception about your traumas or relationship with your Mother and receive the healing miracles you need.

You can even travel back in time to your young self in meditation to hug and love that child at times of fear and pain.

Sometimes all it takes is sitting with your emotions and facing yourself to obtain a higher perceptive awareness of a person or a situation.

This can lead to the ability to have more compassion and forgive while setting boundaries with others so you don’t continue to drain your life force energy with toxic emotions.

My daily Sadhana has helped me stay more in the present moment and continue to build new neuropathways in the brain that help me not return to my old programming or my old stories of resentment, and drama that the codependent ego is addicted to.

Daily continued practice is key.

Codependency is something we can all heal in order to enjoy beautiful, healthy relationships.

And if you are in a long term relationship like me, your inner work will be enough for your partner to also want to heal, grow, & experience a deeper relationship OR you simply will grow apart in frequency which is ok too because you will be free to experience authentic love.

One of the things I hear women say all the time is, “this just how I’ve always been .”⁣

“I’ll never change.”

“He’ll never change.” ⁣

“My relationship will never change.”

Those beliefs Are exactly what keeps us in karmic cycles of toxicity.

Before my journey of healing with Plant Medicines in the Peruvian Jungle  & kundalini yoga Sadhana became a daily part of my life, codependency was exactly what created so much havoc in my 22 years of marriage and intimate relationships in general and life. ⁣

It takes first courage & awareness to realize you are codependent & then it takes the desire to even want to change.

My relationship with my husband who I married one month shy of turning 17 (OMG) has never been more sacred, fun, and exciting as it is today.

The growing respect I have for my two Sons and my relationships in general, is something that I’ve learned to appreciate more and more every day.

One thing I know to be absolutely true is that to heal codependency you have to heal the relationship you have with you.
