Change your mindset and you will become a different person. I am sure you have heard this so many times. But, changing anything can be hard, as our habits are brain based and our brain doesn’t like change. Actually, brain is weird to resist change. So, how can we change and from person A, who is let’s say fearful, insecure and stays in her comfort zone become a person B, who is a superhero version of us, let’s say someone who puts itself out there, goes out of it’s comfort zone constantly and lives aligned to it’s vision.
So, how do we change?
Have you tried visualization before? You visualize a version of you that has already sorted out a certain problem you are now dealing with. That’s like a 2.0 version of yourself. Let me stress this right away, we change all the time and this process never ends. And the point in making this work is to “believe it”, believe that you deserve and work from that place as you already have that something. Because, 2.0 version of you already has it (let’s say she has no debt, she is in a healthy, thriving relationship, she is fit and takes self-care as priority…).
Your thoughts create your emotions and believes, and your believes create your frequency. And that frequency is all there is in energetic way of expressing ourselves in universe. And what kind of frequency we put out, is exactly the kind of frequency that we get back. Universe reflects us. In order to create different frequency we need to transform.
So, stop for a moment and think what kind of thoughts are you thinking? Because your thought will lead to your feelings and believes and those will create your frequency. You are powerful creator of your thoughts so, what kind of thoughts are you producing?
How you talk to yourself? What kind of stories are you telling yourself? Are those stories positive and affirmative or negative and discouraging? Are you repeating that you don’t have enough time, money or energy? Are you telling yourself that you are overweight and no matter what you can not gain control over your fitness goals?
If you say and believe you can achieve something, you can achieve it.
If you say and believe you can’t achieve something, you can’t achieve it.
You are right, whatever you believe. Because, you are the creator of your thoughts.
In order to change ourselves, we need to change stories that we are telling to ourselves. Your stories that are repeated all the time, create your identity. Let’s say that your teacher in elementary school told you that you are not good at math and you believed her. And for years on you were struggling with math, because you had identity of a person who is not good at math. So, for a different version of yourself you would need to tell yourself new stories and create new identity. You would start to believe that you are good at math, and that one statement from your teacher from elementary school can not define your identity regarding math.
And secret to changing identity is:
- working from alter ego (imagine that you become your alter ego for a few hours. what would your alter ego do, how would she react…)
- use consistently meditation, visualization or self-hypnosis to start believing that you already have what you want. Let’s say you are already slim, you are already in happy relationship, you already attract abundance…
